Full job description

THIS POSITION IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT STATE OF NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH EMPLOYEES

Under the direction of the Director of HIV Services, designs, develops and tests evaluations of HIV and syndemic programming using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques and assess program outcomes and methods

Develops and employs qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to assess program outcomes and methods.

Develops logical and process models (i.e. Theory of Change, PDSA, etc.) for monitoring and evaluation.

Advises on evaluation methods to incorporate into ongoing program activities with staff collaboration and writes training manuals for applying said evaluation methods.

Produces detailed reports outlining analysis results, recommending improvement steps, and describing the rationale and methodology used in program evaluations

Works with healthcare professionals, researchers, and stakeholders to determine key performance indicators for HIV and syndemic programs.

Oversees evaluation and research staff, manages staff work activities, and conducts staff performance evaluations.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree supplemented by a Master's degree in Epidemiology, Systems Analysis, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Public or Business Administration, Social Work, Demography, or Psychology.

EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of experience involving the application of logic, mathematics, statistics, and/or economic principles in evaluating an epidemiologic, public health, medical, operations research, business or public administration, social work, statistical or

economic field.

LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
