Principal Engineer, Service Delivery - Networking

Responsibilities
What you’ll achieve
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will help deploy world-class solutions for our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our technology, delivery processes and customers’ priorities.
You will:

Coordinate with our technical solution team members to meet customer needs.

Proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact; facilitating continuous improvement.

Build and sustain effective communications with all partners and cross-functional teams, maximizing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise level hardware/software AI data center solutions.

Subject matter expert in key technology areas including server, storage, and networking
-
Adherence in established organizational common practices and delivery methodologies
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
-
Ability to travel to customer locations with a flexible schedule - support business needs 24x7 including weekends as required
-
Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 lbs.
-
Strong written and communication skills
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Strong experience with:
-
Networking and Networking protocols
-
Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching
-
Experience with AI deployments preferred
-
SANs including iSCSI and Fiber Channel
-
Hyper-Converged Infrastructure experience a plus
-
High Performance Cluster experience a plus
Desirable Requirements
-
10+ years of related industry experience with bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
Industry certifications desired (CCNA,CCNP, Nvidia Certifications, etc.)
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Toral Compensation range for this position is:

Texas, Illinois, Georgia, Nevada, Virginia: USD 122,400 - USD 158,400

Washington: Total Compensation Range: USD 134,640 - USD 174,240
