Job Summary The Legal Operations Manager will have responsibility in the following primary areas: (i) legal technology and systems, (ii) process improvement, (iii) knowledge and matter management systems, (iv) vendor and financial management, and (v) metrics and reporting for the Legal Department. The individual in this role must have excellent time management, project management, and communication skills to effectively manage competing priorities and drive complex projects involving stakeholders at all levels to completion. The ideal candidate will have: (i) extensive experience with legal billing and legal case management software, (ii) experience leading RFPs, negotiating fee arrangements, and monitoring vendor performance, and (iii) expertise in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for legal operations. Job Responsibilities Legal Technology & Systems: Evaluate, implement, and manage legal tech tools (e.g., e-billing, matter management, contract lifecycle management). Lead system integrations and ensure user adoption across the legal team. Maintain data integrity and reporting capabilities. Process Improvement & Project Management: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline legal operations. Lead cross-functional projects and change management initiatives.
