Registered Nurse Pediatrics Location: Syracuse, NY Facility: Upstate Golisano Childrens Hospital Pay Rate: $85-90 per hour Shift: Days, 3x12s (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) Job Summary Seeking experienced Pediatric RNs for the inpatient pediatric float pool at Upstate Golisano Childrens Hospital. This day shift role requires floating across all pediatric units, including the Bio Behavior Unit as a Medical Pediatric Nurse (no psych duties). Candidates must be comfortable in a high-acuity Level I/II trauma hospital setting. Requirements Active NY RN License 2+ years recent inpatient Pediatrics experience Acute care experience in Level I or II trauma center Strong IV therapy and telemetry reading skills BLS required EPIC preferred Must float to all pediatric units/campuses Every other weekend + holiday coverage required Responsibilities Provide inpatient nursing care to pediatric patients Perform assessments, medication administration, and IV therapy Monitor telemetry and respond to patient status changes Float across pediatric departments based on staffing needs Deliver safe patient care with minimal orientation Facility Details Upstate Golisano Childrens Hospital SUNY 1 Childrens Cir, Syracuse, NY
