Description
We're looking for a highly skilled Integrated Master Scheduler IV to join our team as a contractor under the Joint Project Manager (JPM) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Integrated Early Warning (IEW), located at Aberdeen Proving Ground - South in Edgewood, MD (formerly known as Edgewood Arsenal). This position supports the Department of War (DoW) acquisition programs across the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will build, maintain, and analyze complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), integrating schedule baselines with cost estimation, systems engineering milestones, and enterprise risk management frameworks to support program leadership decision-making.
Core Responsibilities:

Schedule Development & Baseline Management: Develop, maintain, and analyze resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) mapped to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Cost Estimation System (CES), and Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs).

Enterprise Risk & Quantitative Analysis: Lead or support program risk management processes, executing Monte Carlo simulations, schedule risk analyses, and risk-loaded schedules to evaluate impacts on cost, performance, and milestones.

Cross-Functional IPT Support: Lead and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs/WIPTs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and milestone decisions, briefing senior leadership on critical paths, schedule variances, and execution status.

Financial & EVM Integration: Integrate schedule toolsets with cost and financial data (EVM analysis, spend plans, status of funds) to support acquisition documentation and compliance with DoD acquisition guidance.

Acquisition Lifecycle Compliance: Evaluate technical, cost, and schedule data across research, development, testing, production, and sustainment phases in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 standards.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (4-year) in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of direct experience in DoW acquisition lifecycle activities and management. Experience supporting federal, defense, or aerospace programs is preferred.

Clearance : Active or Interim SECRET clearance.
Technical Skills & Tool Proficiency
-
Scheduling Software: Proficiency with industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Open Plan, or Milestones Professional).

Risk Analysis & Simulation: Demonstrated experience conducting schedule risk assessments and quantitative modeling using risk tools and simulations (e.g., Monte Carlo analysis, Risk Recon, or equivalent schedule risk software).

Cost & Baseline Integration: Familiarity with integrating schedule baselines with program cost estimating, financial execution data, or Earned Value Management (EVM) toolsets (e.g., ACEIT, JACS, or similar cost/schedule integration software).

Productivity & Reporting: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) for developing schedule metrics, variance reports, and executive briefings.

Baseline & Variance Management: Proven ability to build and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), establish baseline changes, conduct critical path analysis, and perform schedule variance assessments.

Lifecycle Alignment: Understanding of structured project lifecycle frameworks (e.g., product development, system testing, production, or sustainment) and standard Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated expertise leading or supporting multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) or project working groups to collect schedule status and resolve execution roadblocks.

Leadership Reporting: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of translating complex schedule and risk data into clear metrics, dashboards, and executive-level briefings.
