We are also helping shape how finance works, bringing together financial expertise, simpler processes, and emerging technology so our teams can spend more time delivering insight and driving business outcomes.

Role Overview

The Finance Transformation Lead connects teams, helps shape finance leadership agendas, and turns shared priorities into action across regions and functions. Working closely with finance leaders, this person brings together business needs, global initiatives, and emerging capabilities, including practical AI applications, to improve how finance operates. The role works through leadership forums, working groups, and partnerships with business owners and technical teams to advance decisions and keep projects moving. Success requires financial acumen, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to build strong partnerships and translate ideas into clear next steps.

  • Strong financial and business acumen, including an understanding of planning, forecasting, reporting, and finance operating cycles.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, improving processes, or supporting business change across business and technical teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead meetings and advance workstreams, including setting agendas, preparing participants, driving discussions, and following through on commitments with minimal day-to-day direction.

  • Sound judgment in resolving issues, anticipating next steps, and escalating matters that require leadership decisions, with clear context and recommendations.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information, frame decisions, and drive action.

  • Ability to build effective partnerships and influence outcomes without direct authority.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and curiosity about new processes and technologies.

  • Experience with finance transformation, automation, technology adoption, or coordination of leadership forums is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools, business requirements documentation, and technical intake processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with finance leaders to turn shared priorities into actionable plans, coordinate work across teams and regions, and drive follow-through.

  • Shape agendas and prepare materials for finance leadership forums and staff meetings, bringing together the right participants, framing decisions needed, and communicating actions and outcomes.

  • Lead regular finance transformation project reviews, working with project owners to surface progress, resolve dependencies, and bring issues requiring leadership attention into the appropriate forums.

  • Partner with global and corporate teams, bringing forward business needs and coordinating adoption of relevant initiatives, tools, and operating practices.

  • Help teams adopt AI and other emerging capabilities by identifying practical finance applications, translating guidance into useful communications, and connecting employees with resources and learning opportunities.

  • Partner with business owners to clarify project requirements, deliverables, and timelines. Help them navigate documentation, technical intake, and review processes and engage the appropriate technical partners.

  • Maintain clear visibility into business and technical workstreams through Jira, project trackers, and leadership updates. Identify roadblocks, coordinate solutions, and escalate risks with recommended next steps.

  • Support organizational planning by tracking progress against goals and helping leaders translate results and evolving priorities into next steps.
