Location: Ideally College Park, MD, but open to other areas in the US (Denver, CO, Bothell, WA, remote) Travel: Up to 15%, domestic (within the U.S.). Job ID: 1966 The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst/Administrator to evolve and scale IonQ's NetSuite ecosystem as the company scales. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and IT — and requires someone who can think strategically about systems architecture while staying hands-on with the configuration, administration, and cross-functional delivery that keeps everything running. Additionally, the role will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting other Finance-related systems (expense, travel, procurement, tax, etc.) You will be part of a team to manage IonQ's primary NetSuite instance, support the consolidation of additional ERP systems, and serve as a key partner to stakeholders across the business. The environment is fast-moving and complex: multiple revenue streams, manufacturing operations, government contracts, and the controls infrastructure required of a NYSE-listed company. Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with business leads, and become a trusted partner in designing, implementing, and supporting solutions, while providing technical and business process expertise.
  • Incorporate the complexities of government, commercial, and international businesses and related compliance (CUI, ITAR, GDPR, etc.)
  • Own day-to-day NetSuite administration and operations, including managing both internal and external support staff.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing configurations, workflows, and module utilization
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT to gather requirements, document functional specs, and deliver scalable ERP solutions
  • Lead end-to-end ERP migration and integration projects for acquired entities, including architecture, project planning, stakeholder communication, data migration, and post-go-live support.
  • Continually enhance business systems to support organic growth
  • Administer and optimize connected financial systems
  • Maintain SOX compliant controls, documentation, and audit trails across all managed systems

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in business systems or ERP administration, including 3+ years as a hands-on NetSuite Administrator, ideally in a mid-to-large-scale public environment that has significant government and international businesses, in multi-subsidiary, multi-currency/country environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Strong finance/accounting knowledge
  • Fluent in additional areas, including NetSuite's Inventory and Manufacturing modules.
  • Working knowledge of ITGC controls, SOX compliance frameworks, and formal change management processes, ideally in a publicly traded company.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and competing priorities in a high-growth, publicly traded technology company where processes are still maturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification
  • Experience supporting DCAA compliance within an ERP environment, including cost accounting setup, project billing, and audit readiness for government contracts.
  • Expertise with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), including configuration of revenue recognition rules and multi-element arrangements
  • Expertise with NetSuite's Inventory, Manufacturing, time keeping, and MRP modules, including BOM management, routing configuration, work order processing, demand planning, and supply/demand netting
  • Hands-on experience with IonQ's connected systems: Zip (procurement), OneStream (consolidation), RF Smart (warehouse management), Expensify (expenses), or Salesforce (CRM).
  • Prior experience at a publicly traded hardware, deep tech, or aerospace/defense company, particularly one navigating rapid post-IPO or post-acquisition systems growth.
