Overview

Responsibilities

Under the minimal direction and supervision, the Project Manager will lead and manage a variety of technology projects from inception to completion. This position will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and aligning project objectives with business goals. The Analyst requires little or no supervision and exercises independent judgement and discretion when carrying out these functions. The responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, managing resources, overseeing project execution, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving technological advancements and achieving strategic objectives for the organization and hospitals business operations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management or Computer Science or related field. 2. Three (3) or more years of applicable work experience within project management. 3. Experience managing both operational and technical projects/programs at all levels of complexity.4. Experience managing multiple projects consecutively. 5. Understanding and experience with various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) 6. Knowledge of integrated healthcare information systems preferred (Epic, Meditech, On-Base) 7. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred. 8. Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project 9. Strong written and oral communication skills.10. Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Required certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, or equivalent by demonstrated project management in increasing complexity and size of project(s)

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $77,500.80 to $173,076.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
