Lead Enterprise Epic Implementations Across a National Health System

Prime Healthcare is an award-winning health system headquartered in Ontario, California. Prime Healthcare operates 55 hospitals and has more than 360 outpatient locations in 15 states providing more than 3.0million patient visits annually. It is one of the nation’s leading health systems with over 60,000 employees and physicians. Twenty-one of the Prime Healthcare hospitals are members of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity. Prime Healthcare is actively seeking new members to join our corporate team!

Are you an experienced Epic leader who has successfully driven full-cycle implementations across complex hospital environments?

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced Epic Implementation Manager (Clinical) to lead enterprise-wide deployments across our national health system. You will drive end-to-end clinical application implementations, partner closely with clinical and executive leadership, and ensure successful adoption across complex care environments. This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise shapes how care is delivered across dozens of hospitals.

What makes this role compelling:

  • Lead enterprise-wide clinical Epic implementations across 50+ hospitals

  • Influence provider workflows, patient care, and clinical outcomes

  • Own delivery across full lifecycle: design → build → go-live

  • Lead and mentor large high-performing analyst teams

  • Partner directly with CMOs, Nursing Leadership, and Executives

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Epic Program Manager, the Epic Implementation Manager oversees Revenue Cycle applications, and is responsible for managing all aspects of future Epic implementations at Prime hospitals. The Implementation Manager will build relationships with hospital leadership to ensure corporate and local initiatives are incorporated into future implementations. After each go-live, the Implementation Manager will oversee a comprehensive handoff to the Production Support team, ensuring a successful transition of support for the hospital. The Implementation Manager will supervise performance of all analysts on their team, which is comprised of the applications in their domain Revenue Cycle.

In this role, you will serve as the driving force behind enterprise Revenue Cycle Epic implementations, leading hospitals through each phase of the journey; from early planning and workflow design to go-live and stabilization. As a leader, you’ll not only deliver successful implementations, but also mentor and develop your team while building strong, lasting partnerships across the organization.

On any given day, you’ll collaborate with clinical and executive leaders to align system design with real-world care delivery, guide your team through build and testing milestones, and proactively navigate challenges to keep implementations on track. You’ll be at the center of the action during go-live, ensuring teams are supported, workflows function as intended, and clinicians are set up for success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end Clinical Epic implementations

  • Oversee design, build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization

  • Partner with clinical stakeholders to align workflows and system design

  • Ensure adoption of best-practice clinical workflows

  • Lead, coach, and manage clinical application analyst teams

  • Drive milestone execution, risk mitigation, and delivery outcomes

  • Oversee post-go-live transition to support teams

  • Travel Requirement: This is a remote role that requires frequent travel (up to 50–75% annually) to hospital sites across the U.S., notably during key implementation phases.
