The Team
ConvergeSPORTS is a product-driven business combining Deloitte's sports industry experience with proprietary data, AI-native decision intelligence, and reusable Converge capabilities. We help sports organizations grow revenue, deepen fan engagement, optimize partnerships, and improve commercial performance while operating with the focus of a product company.
We drive value for our clients by improving commercial decisions and actions at a level of granularity only made possible with today's data and technology. ConvergeSPORTS helps teams, leagues, venues, media organizations, sponsors, and brands prosper in a world being re-shaped by convergence, where the lines between sports, entertainment, media, commerce, and digital fan engagement continue to blur. Our approach for addressing this complexity is simple: we combine Deloitte's next-generation Converge platforms with deep sports-sector experience and a sharp understanding of the industry's unique revenue, fan, sponsorship, and operating challenges.
Position Summary
Are you a product leader who has built and scaled data products, AI-native platforms, or enterprise software for complex commercial ecosystems? Are you energized by the challenge of leading a product organization from the ground up - defining the vision, growing the team, and ensuring every product decision connects to commercial outcomes? If the answer to these questions is yes, we would like to talk with you.
Recruiting for this role ends on 11/09/2026.
Work you'll do
As the Head of Products for ConvergeSPORTS, you will own the product vision, portfolio strategy, and product management organization for the business. You are responsible for defining what ConvergeSPORTS builds, leading the team that shapes and prioritizes the product roadmap, and ensuring product strategy translates into market-ready offerings that clients adopt and expand. This role combines product vision, organizational leadership, and commercial product execution - operating at the intersection of strategy, engineering, data science, sales, and the sports market. Across Signals, Segmentation, Partnership Intelligence, and the Digital Suite, you will drive the product agenda that defines ConvergeSPORTS' competitive position:
-
Own and communicate the ConvergeSPORTS product vision, portfolio strategy, and multi-year roadmap across Signals, Segmentation, Partnership Intelligence, and the Digital Suite.
-
Lead, develop, and grow the product management team - establishing product principles, operating rituals, and career frameworks that attract and retain strong product talent.
-
Define product priorities in partnership with the General Manager, Revenue & Growth Lead, and Head of Sales - balancing near-term commercial demand with long-term platform scalability.
-
Drive the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch: lead customer discovery, define product requirements, own the go/no-go process, and track adoption and outcomes post-launch.
-
Translate client feedback, field learnings, and market signals into product decisions - ensuring the roadmap reflects real buyer demand and competitive dynamics.
-
Establish and enforce the product operating model: intake process, prioritization framework, release cadence, and build-versus-buy decisions.
-
Partner with Engineering and Data Science leaders to define technical product strategy, platform architecture decisions, and AI/ML product capabilities.
-
Own the commercial product story - developing product positioning, pricing frameworks, packaging structures, and market-facing narratives for ConvergeSPORTS offerings.
-
Serve as the executive product voice in client engagements, pursuits, and Deloitte leadership forums - representing the product portfolio with clarity and conviction.
-
Lead product governance: manage the trade-off between platform investment and client-specific customization to prevent product fragmentation.
-
Define and track product KPIs - adoption rates, expansion revenue, client health scores, feature utilization, and delivery velocity.
The successful candidate would possess these skills:
-
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing product management teams, including hiring, developing, and managing product managers across varying seniority levels.
-
Proven judgment on product prioritization and portfolio management - knowing what to build, what to defer, and what to sunset.
-
Deep understanding of the sports ecosystem, including teams, leagues, venues, sponsors, media organizations, fan engagement, partnership strategy, and commercial revenue models.
-
Executive presence and credibility with senior clients, Deloitte leadership, and cross-functional product, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
-
Ability to translate complex platform capabilities into simple, compelling product narratives that resonate with commercial buyers.
-
Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, and product P&L awareness.
-
Demonstrated ability to create structure in ambiguity, building product operating models, prioritization frameworks, and team rituals from scratch.
-
Proven ability to influence across matrixed organizations and build alignment between product, engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders.
-
Passion for sports, fan experience, sponsorship, media, and the future of AI-enabled commercial technology in sports.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including product specifications, strategic narratives, and executive storytelling.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
-
8+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or product leadership, including at least 3 years in a team leadership role directly managing product managers.
-
Demonstrated experience building and launching data products, AI-native platforms, or enterprise SaaS offerings.
-
Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
-
Advanced degree (Master's) in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-
Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or adjacent vertical markets.
-
Background in management consulting, commercial transformation, or enterprise technology product leadership.
