Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker Job Description

This role focuses on accurately picking and preparing customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment using RF scanners and material handling equipment. You will help ensure products are correctly palletized, wrapped, and staged for shipment while supporting inventory control and stock replenishment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners in accordance with work orders.

  • Palletize products according to specific order requirements and warehouse standards.

  • Shrink wrap pallets securely to prepare them for outgoing shipments.

  • Stage completed pallets in designated areas using pallet jacks within the warehouse.

  • Replenish stock in pick locations to ensure adequate inventory levels for order fulfillment.

  • Support inventory control activities by helping maintain accurate stock counts and locations.

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of production or warehouse experience.

  • Experience with general labor tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to use RF scanners for order picking and inventory-related tasks.

  • Experience with picking and packing orders in a warehouse setting.

  • Ability to operate pallet jacks safely for staging pallets.

  • Basic understanding of inventory control and stock replenishment processes.

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required in a warehouse environment.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and palletizing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous forklift experience or exposure to powered industrial trucks.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or high-volume warehouse environment.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for work orders and safety procedures.

  • Comfort working with RF scanning technology and basic warehouse systems.

  • Reliability and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. You will work around material handling equipment, pallets, and stocked inventory while using RF scanners and pallet jacks to complete daily tasks. The role involves standing, walking, and handling materials throughout the shift in a production-oriented setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $1400.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
