Senior DevOps Engineer - Hybrid

Mode of Interview :- Web Cam Interview Very long term project (initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4+ years) Hybrid (3-4 days per week Onsite) at Raleigh-NC

Job Description:-

• This position must demonstrate a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and software release life cycle.

• The role involves creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks, troubleshooting automation issues, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments across environments, and collaborating with DevOps and application teams to enhance CI/CD workflows.

• Strong knowledge of Linux, Ansible Tower/AWX, YAML, automation best practices, and infrastructure-as-code principles is required.

• Experience with debugging deployments, validating configurations, and improving release reliability is a plus.

• The position will work with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) of application changes.

• This position will interact with the architects, developers, deployment Team, and Database Administrators to ensure automation of various tasks.

• This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends as required to meet business needs.

Skill Required Years

Experience with automating Linux OS and software patches and upgrades across multiple environments using automations tools like Ansible Required 7 Years

Hands on Experience (like branching, merging, configuring, and administering) with BitBucket or GIT Source Code Management tool Required 3 Years

Hands on experience in Automating build/deploy process including changes to database using tools like Ansible Required 7 Years

Experience developing automation scripts, operational utilities, and workflow scripts using Python/Bash/Shell Required 7 Years

Experience building and packaging applications with Docker, and managing and scaling containerized workloads using Kubernetes Required 2 Years

Experience in infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and environment management using Terraform and Ansible Required 4 Years

Hands on experience developing and managing CI/CD (DevOps) pipeline using tools like Teamcity, Jenkins, Ansible Required 2 Years

Strong knowledge and understanding of Amazon web Services and infrastructure Highly desired 2 Years
