Infrastructure Engineer

IDR is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role offers a chance to work within a small, dynamic team supporting critical infrastructure services in a corporate banking environment. The position involves managing BAU support, server engineering, and supporting hybrid Microsoft Exchange systems. Position Overview for the Infrastructure Engineer: * Support backups, Microsoft Exchange (hybrid: on-premise and Azure), and BAU production support. * Assist with supporting infrastructure and server engineering, including admin tasks. * Collaborate with both US and UK teams, supporting UK infrastructure transitions. * Work within a small team managing core infrastructure services and responding to production issues. * Participate in rotating shift schedules and support data center operations in New Jersey and Atlanta. Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure support and server engineering. * Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, VMware, and storage solutions. * Basic networking knowledge; additional skills with Meraki are a plus. * Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and non-technical business users. * Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with on-prem and cloud technologies, supporting both US and UK teams.
