This is an excellent opportunity as we are continuing to grow in Northwest Arkansas and work on challenging and rewarding projects. This position requires 10+ years of experience. \ POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: - Design of electrical lighting, power, and auxiliary systems for education, recreational, commercial, housing, and healthcare buildings. Projects also include water/wastewater, and the education sector - Prepare electrical, low voltage and special systems project construction documents and specifications - Assist in the preparation of project fees and budgets - Manage multi-discipline engineering projects - Coordinate schedules with clients and the internal team - Interface with Clients - Review of contracts and proposals - Design, load analysis, site surveys, RFI, and submittal reviews - Responsible for preparing Electrical systems project construction documents and specifications - QA/QC other Electrical Engineers documents - Coordinate design information between disciplines POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain. - Knowledge of the National Electrical Code - Strong ability to work in both AutoCAD and Revit - Experience in building electrical systems preferred - Knowledge of SKM software preferred but not necessary - Knowledge of Visual or AGI lighting software preferred but not necessary EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\ \ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or AE degree.\ \ SALARY RANGE: \ Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000.
