💰 Fund Accounting Manager | $150K–$180K + ~20% Bonus + Profit Sharing

📍 San Francisco Financial District | Hybrid

I’m working on an opportunity with a leading private equity fund manager overseeing more than $10 billion in assets.

This is more than a financial reporting role. You’ll work closely with Finance leadership, oversee critical fund accounting processes, partner with external audit and tax providers, and help develop junior team members within a sophisticated global investment platform.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Review quarterly and annual fund financial statements for accuracy and US GAAP compliance

• Oversee audit and tax processes alongside Finance leadership and external service providers

• Review LP and underlying investment capital calls and distributions

• Monitor fund cash positions and forecast liquidity requirements

• Research complex accounting and tax matters and advise on non-routine transactions

• Respond to LP inquiries and support ad hoc reporting and regulatory compliance

• Identify process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and controls

• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members

Requirements

🧠 Who They’re Looking For

• Active CPA with 5+ years of audit or tax experience in public accounting or at a PE/VC firm

• At least 2 years in a review capacity and 1 year in a managerial role

• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and analytical skills

• Experience managing competing priorities and external stakeholder relationships

• High ownership, sound judgment, and exceptional attention to detail

• Fund-of-funds experience is a plus

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
