**Design Draftsperson - RandD Electronics Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Experience: CAD systems, Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical designs; sheet metal, machined and wiring components. Understanding electronic instrumentation assembly processes is helpful. General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Engineering Support Manager. Creation of and maintenance of fabrication and assembly drawings. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Engineering Support Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards - Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements. **Education / Training: Minimum 2 year degree (or enrolled in final semester) in Computer Drafting or related field is required. Proficiency with a brand of 3-D modeling drafting software. Familiarity with Solid Edge and Altium is a plus Test Required : Yes; At the time of interview, applicant will be expected to demonstrate an ability to perform tasks in drafting software. ** Applicants are required to complete an application and must possess the required basic qualifications to be considered for the position.
