About the Position: This position is located within the Lyster Army Health Clinic (LAHC) at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Serves as Deputy Chief of the Managed Care Division, overseeing patient appointing, referral management, TRICARE operations, data analysis, and staff supervision to ensure access to care, compliance, process improvement, and effective clinic support across LAHC. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

• Serve as the Deputy Chief of Managed Care providing management of patient appointing, referral management, and Tricare operations.
• Monitor healthcare delivery systems for trends, analysis, and comparisons to improve the healthcare delivery process.
• Make recommendations regarding corrections or improvements on findings that affect the productivity, access, and quality of the healthcare services.
• Provide policy advice to senior leadership to ensure continued clinic accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement short, mid, and long range plans for Healthcare programs in support of clinical operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience analyzing clinic performance data to support improvements in access-to-care and provider scheduling; and evaluating healthcare support contracts to confirm compliance and proper service delivery.; and leading administrative and clinical support staff to maintain consistent workflow and operational quality. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11 or above. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
