Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Superintendent for a top commercial construction client supporting high-end interiors and tenant improvement projects throughout the Dallas market. This individual will serve as the primary field leader, owning site safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality, logistics, and closeout.

Day-to-Day:

  • Serve as the primary onsite leader for commercial interior/TI projects
  • Direct daily workflow consistent with project schedules, safety requirements, and quality expectations
  • Coordinate subcontractors and sequence interior trades
  • Partner with the PM to develop and maintain schedules and project logistics
  • Manage active/occupied-site conditions including noise, dust, security, deliveries, access, and shutdowns
  • Inspect work daily for quality and conformance with plans/specifications Maintain accurate daily logs, work tickets, and project documentation

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience within commercial interiors/TI projects
  • Experience with corporate interiors, Class A office, hospitality, or similarly high-finish environments
  • Experience supervising fast-paced renovations and occupied-space construction
  • Experience sequencing and coordinating multiple interior trades
  • Understanding of shutdowns, valves, building systems, and isolating portions of active buildings for construction
  • Experience managing noise, dust, security, deliveries, loading dock restrictions, and tenant/building-management concerns
  • Ability to manage detailed project schedules and make/meet schedule commitments
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals
