What You'll Do

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments

Move materials safely throughout the warehouse and production areas

Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts

Perform inventory transactions using warehouse management systems

Store materials in designated locations and maintain inventory accuracy

Conduct cycle counts and support inventory control efforts

Use pallet jacks, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment

Identify and separate non-conforming materials

Support production by ensuring materials are available when needed

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment

What We're Looking For

Warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience

Forklift operating experience preferred

Experience with inventory tracking and cycle counting is a plus

Comfortable using computers and inventory systems

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Valid driver's license

Bonus Points If You Have

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)

Experience operating overhead cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment

ERP or warehouse management system experience

Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience

Material handling and inventory control experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
