Security Operations Center Specialist
Site Location: Seattle, WA
Wage : $28.90/HR
At Securitas, on-site security officers are the foundation of our organization. Our officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.
We are looking for an experienced Security Operations Center Specialist (SOC) to join our team in Downtown Seattle. The SOC operations 24/7 using open-source material to find, research, and assess potential safety or security concerns to the client, employees, and community members.

What Your Day May Look Like
-
Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
-
Monitor and respond effectively to all security, communication, and fire/life safety systems and alarms within the designated area.
-
Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
-
Coordinate and dispatch security rovers and patrols, receiving and assessing reports from field personnel.

Maintain strict control and accurate logging of all equipment and keys, including sign-out and return tracking.

Issue emergency notifications in accordance with site post orders.
-
Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
-
Perform access control at security entrances / exits.

Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.

Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
Requirements
-
18 years of age or older.
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Intermediate to advanced computer / technology skills needed.
-
1+ years of professional experience in customer service & 1+ years of Security experience required.

Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
-
Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.

Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.

Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
