$18.50 per hour
Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Make an Impact in the Field
United Protective Services is seeking an experienced Field Training Officer / Field Supervisor to support security operations across Houston. This is a mobile leadership role for a security professional who is comfortable working independently, coaching officers, inspecting posts, and responding to operational needs.
Using a company vehicle, you will travel between assigned locations to help maintain high security standards, support officers in the field, address staffing needs, and communicate with operations leadership.

What You'll Do

Conduct quality-control inspections at security posts throughout Houston.

Evaluate officer appearance, attendance, post knowledge, and compliance with site instructions.

Identify operational issues and communicate findings to operations leadership.

Document inspection results and follow up on corrective actions.

Train, coach, and support new and existing security officers in the field.

Respond to officer call-offs and assist with after-hours staffing needs.

Help coordinate post coverage to maintain required staffing levels.

Communicate with officers, site managers, and operations leadership to resolve field issues.

Assist with other operational needs as assigned.
What We're Looking For
-
Previous security supervision, field training, or lead officer experience preferred.

Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

Must be at least 25 years old due to company vehicle insurance requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.

Ability to manage multiple locations and changing operational priorities.

Professional appearance and ability to coach and hold officers accountable.

Willingness to work evenings and respond to after-hours operational needs.
