Collins Aerospace is looking for an Engineering Technician, Autoclave to oversee, operate, and control multiple Autoclaves during the curing process of composite and metal bonded structures.

Position works Monday - Friday2nd-shift (2:00PM – 10:30PM ) onsite at the Riverside manufacturing facility

What You Will Do

  • Operation of Autoclaves to support manufacturing activities.

  • Review technical data/production specs to write and edit “recipes”.

  • Ensure bonded structures meet cure specifications.

  • Generating cure reports for individual parts.

  • Adjust load configurations to improve cure quality.

  • Provides support and direction to team members.

  • Communicating with various programs on priorities.

  • Assist support functions with process improvements.

  • Management and updating of Autoclave Tracker.

  • Responsible for handling most issues within the department.

  • Performing other tasks as assigned.

  • Follow safe work practices and comply with company policy.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience operating and maintaining machines and ensuring constant data flow.

  • Experience in MS Office.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience operating autoclave equipment Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.

  • Prior Autoclave certification.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This role may be eligible for relocation.

The salary range for this role is 45,600 USD - 79,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
