Full job description
Description We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring efforts for a Contract position based in Covina, California. This role will help drive an organized, responsive recruitment process by coordinating candidate flow, maintaining accurate hiring records, and supporting outreach across multiple channels. The ideal candidate brings prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where detail, follow-through, and timeliness are essential.
Responsibilities:

Manage job postings across online platforms and keep requisitions current to reflect hiring needs.

Partner with external staffing agencies when additional recruiting support is required.

Distribute pre-employment questionnaires and monitor completion status throughout the hiring process.

Coordinate background screening activities and ensure required checks are completed accurately and on time.

Revise and maintain job descriptions to align with updated role expectations and business needs.

Keep the applicant tracking system organized, accurate, and up to date with candidate activity.

Monitor recruiting progress by tracking hiring metrics and reporting on pipeline movement.

Identify prospective candidates through job boards, social media, networking, schools, and community organizations.

Work with the marketing team to support recruitment campaigns, employment branding, and career site updates.

Provide backup assistance with onboarding activities, HR policy support, workforce planning, and process improvement initiatives as needed. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.

Background supporting hiring coordination, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, or full-cycle recruiting activities.

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as BambooHR or comparable HR platforms is strongly preferred.

Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or social services environments is preferred.

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ability to move tasks forward with urgency while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
