Primary Restaurant and Bar is hiring staff! **PAY:**Line Cooks/Food Runners start at around $19/hour. ABOUT US: Primary Restaurant and Bar is a mountain modern restaurant located in the heart of Highlands, NC. Serving a wide variety of lunch and dinner options, we strive for delicious food at a great value in the most attractive venue around. Please stop on in! We offer year-round employment. DUTIES: - Prepares food using recipes and menu items by grilling, frying, sauting to Head Chef's standards. - K eeps the kitchen running smoothly - Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks - Plating prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance - Complies with food sanitation requirements by proper food handing and correct storage. - Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations - Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time - Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts - Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations by cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces.
