Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served. ## Requirements - Associate degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology - Registered ARRT (R) upon hire, with ARRT CT certification required within 15 months - OR registered ARRT (NM) or NMTCB, with CT certification required within 15 months - Advanced CT certification must be attempted by 12 months and completed no later than 15 months - Successful completion of hospital, core, and department orientation - BLS certification required within 6 months of hire - Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, problem solving, and assertiveness - Customer service orientation - Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and take initiative - Ability to operate basic computer programs used for departmental record keeping ## Physical and Mental Requirements - High levels of mental and visual concentration - Frequent standing and walking - Regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and assisting with heavier patient-related tasks - Occasional straining or fatiguing positions ## Key Responsibilities <
