Job Description

The Consumer Bank Deepening Marketing team drives profitable growth by acquiring new checking and savings relationships from customers who already have a relationship with Chase across Credit Card, Auto, Home Lending, Business Banking, and Wealth Management.

As a Marketing Strategy Senior Associate on the Acquisition Marketing team, you will support the development, management, and continued evolution of the Consumer Bank Deepening program. You will combine strong analytical thinking, financial discipline, project leadership, and strategic planning to turn business priorities and customer insights into actionable marketing strategies. You will work closely with the Consumer Bank Deepening Lead and Channels Vice President to ensure the team’s strategies are analytically grounded, operationally coordinated, and effectively communicated to cross-functional partners and leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Consumer Bank Deepening leads in translating enterprise growth priorities into actionable program strategies and roadmaps

  • Conduct analyses to evaluate customer segments, product opportunities, offer structures, channel performance, and relationship-deepening opportunities

  • Turn customer research, behavioral insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data into clear strategic recommendations

  • Establish clear objectives, milestones, dependencies, owners, and decision points for assigned initiatives

  • Drive defined workstreams from initial problem framing through recommendation, approval, launch, and performance review

  • Facilitate working sessions and partner discussions, documenting decisions and holding workstream owners accountable for follow-through

  • Build trusted partnerships across teams while constructively challenging assumptions and maintaining focus on business and customer outcomes

  • Partner with the Channels VP to analyze performance across email, Chase.com and mobile, branch and banker, direct mail, and emerging channels

  • Support channel deep dives that identify funnel friction, performance drivers, customer-experience gaps, and optimization opportunities

  • Own recurring performance reporting across the Consumer Bank Deepening program, including account production, response, and conversion

  • Develop clear performance narratives that move beyond reporting results to explain what happened, why it happened, and what action the team should take

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing strategy, growth strategy, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, financial services, analytics, consulting, or a related discipline

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify drivers, pressure-test assumptions, and develop recommendations

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and decision points

  • Ability to independently organize ambiguous problems, gather inputs, structure options, and move work toward a decision

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, including disciplined validation of data, assumptions, financials, and presentation materials

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accountability for deadlines and deliverable quality

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
