-
Argue contested motions, including dispositive applications such as motions for summary judgment, with a high degree of independence.
-
Maintain active responsibility for several significant cases at once, balancing immediate deadlines with longer-term litigation planning.
-
Collaborate directly with partners and clients on high-stakes disputes that may draw public attention or involve well-known parties.
-
Contribute to trial readiness and participate in trials on substantial matters as opportunities arise.
-
Use the firm’s approved legal research and AI resources responsibly to strengthen analysis, drafting, and overall case execution.
Requirements • At least 5 years of experience practicing civil litigation, with a strong background in complex business or commercial disputes.
-
Active license to practice law and good standing in the applicable jurisdiction.
-
Demonstrated excellence in legal writing, including drafting motions, briefs, and other substantive advocacy documents.
-
Confidence handling cases with a high level of autonomy, including taking ownership of strategy and next steps.
-
Experience conducting depositions, managing discovery, and appearing in court on contested matters.
