Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Endpoint Platform Engineer for an onsite contract to hire opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Dayton, MN.

Compensation: $98,300 - $172,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for defining and operating the enterprise endpoint management platform to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable device services across global office, remote, and manufacturing environments. The senior engineer will own the endpoint architecture, standards, and platform strategy for Intune/Autopilot and Jamf/macOS, driving platform health through engineering design, telemetry, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent, reliable endpoint services that enable a positive end user experience across office, remote, and manufacturing environments

Support Service Desk teams by designing platforms, standards, and guardrails that reduce incidents and improve first-contact resolution

Communicate platform changes, risks, and known issues clearly to IT partners and stakeholders

Balance security, usability, and operational requirements when designing endpoint solutions

Act as a Tier 3 escalation resource for complex endpoint issues involving Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices

Lead investigation and resolution of systemic endpoint issues such as enrollment failures, policy conflicts, configuration drift, and update failures

Partner with Service Desk, Security, and Infrastructure teams to perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions

Execute endpoint engineering work through defined backlogs, standards, and change management processes

Own technical implementation of approved changes related to endpoint configuration, compliance, provisioning, and application delivery

Drive continuous improvement of endpoint platforms, tooling, and operational processes through engineering excellence

Define, maintain, and improve endpoint standards, reference architectures, and troubleshooting playbooks

Mentor EUC Engineers and support teams through knowledge sharing and technical leadership

Serve as a senior escalation resource as part of an on-call rotation for critical endpoint platform incidents

Primary Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

6+ years of experience engineering enterprise endpoint environments

Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, endpoint compliance, update strategies, and application lifecycle management

Strong experience with macOS enterprise management using Jamf or equivalent tooling

Proven ability to design endpoint architectures and lead cross-functional technical initiatives

Experience supporting manufacturing or operationally critical environments

Excellent communication and leadership experience to work effectively with business stakeholders

Desired Skills:

Master's degree in a relevant technical field

Jamf 200/300/400 certifications or equivalent macOS management certifications

Experience working in large-scale, global, or manufacturing-centric organizations

Experience supporting cloud modernization or digital workplace transformation initiatives
