Physical Security Systems Specialist

The Physical Security Specialist performs engineering, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise-grade physical security systems and integrated network infrastructure. The specialist drives system upgrades, complex integrations, acceptance testing, and deployment activities across critical operational environments. Responsibilities include developing technical documentation, optimizing system processes, and providing engineering-level design input for new project initiatives. Additionally, the position serves as an escalation point for diagnosing advanced technical issues to ensure system reliability, compliance with security standards, and alignment with university's risk-management objectives.This position may be filled at either the Physical Security Systems Specialist I or Physical Security Systems Specialist II level. Placement will be based on the candidate's education, experience, certifications, demonstrated skills, and business needs or operational needs.
