Full job description
Description We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented marketing automation specialist to lead email and lifecycle marketing efforts for a portfolio that serves dental and animal health audiences in Minnesota. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can step into an established HubSpot environment, quickly evaluate current programs, and drive measurable improvements across both B2B and B2C campaigns. The person in this role will guide daily execution for two marketing team members while partnering across marketing, sales, eCommerce, analytics, and creative functions to launch effective, data-informed customer communications.
Responsibilities:
-
Design, launch, and refine automated lifecycle campaigns that support nurture, onboarding, product education, retention, re-engagement, event follow-up, and expansion opportunities.
-
Create targeted audience segments using customer behavior, engagement signals, lifecycle status, and available CRM data to improve campaign relevance and performance.
-
Oversee the day-to-day workflow of two marketing contributors by assigning work, setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, and helping remove execution roadblocks.
-
Perform pre-launch quality checks for every email deployment, including validation of links, personalization logic, rendering, suppression rules, and recipient selection.
-
Protect database quality and email performance through disciplined list hygiene, consent management, suppression practices, and ongoing deliverability monitoring.
-
Track campaign outcomes across engagement, conversion, lead movement, deliverability, and revenue-related metrics, then translate results into practical next steps.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to convert business goals into well-structured marketing automation programs and campaign calendars.
-
Work directly within HubSpot to build workflows, forms, lists, scoring models, and reporting assets rather than serving only in a strategic oversight capacity. Requirements • Proven hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including workflow creation, segmentation, lead scoring, lifecycle management, forms, and campaign analytics.
-
Ability to enter an existing marketing automation environment, assess current setup quickly, and begin contributing with minimal ramp-up time.
-
Experience coordinating or directing the work of other marketing team members in a fast-paced campaign setting.
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and turn findings into clear optimization recommendations.
-
Working knowledge of email quality assurance, database management, and deliverability best practices.
-
Comfort using AI-enabled tools to accelerate segmentation, content iteration, and analysis while applying sound judgment to outputs.
-
Availability to begin by the requested start date.
-
Additional value may come from experience with HubSpot Enterprise, HubSpot-Salesforce integrations, dynamic personalization, preference centers, or work in multi-brand contract environments. Innovation starts with people.®
