ControllerLocation: Albany, NY | Hybrid | 35-hour work week (One day in office/week)Fusco Personnel is conducting a search on behalf of a financial services organization serving the credit union and residential mortgage industries for an experienced Controller to join its three-person Finance team.Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will oversee daily accounting operations for a residential mortgage origination and servicing business, as well as an affiliated nonprofit organization. Responsibilities include month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, regulatory and compliance reporting, audits, mortgage servicing accounting, and financial analysis.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience; CPA firm experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and consolidations Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities Proactive approach to process improvement and internal controls Excellent communication skillsCompensation: $76,000$110,000If you're looking to grow your litigation career with a respected firm offering challenging work and long-term professional development, we'd love to hear from you.
