Job Description

CDL A: Job Description: Join our team and be part of something bigger! We’re looking for experienced CDL A Drivers who share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires up to 4 overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

CDL B: Job Description In the CDL Driver role, you will be traveling to locations along an assigned route where you will be responsible for packing, transporting, and properly disposing of waste materials in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires the maintenance of records with accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to follow instruction, and to work independently once provided proper training. This position requires 4 overnights and some weekend work. You will be provided with a company card to pay for a hotel and given a daily stipend to cover food and other expenses.

Qualifications

CDL A Qualifications: To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age. Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card, Tanker endorsement and Hazmat endorsement. As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important. The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

CDL B Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Understand, read, and write English
  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed)
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hazmat endorsement (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire)
  • Valid TWIC Card
  • At least 1 year of route driving experience
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations
