Full job description
Perform complete history and physical exams for regularly scheduled patients; order diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatment, consulting with the Medical Director as needed Provide coverage for urgent care needs including initial assessment, treatment, and triage Respond to phone calls from established patients seeking advice or medication refills Serve as backup in the absence of the Nurse Manager, including oversight of patient flow and direct nursing support during clinical sessions Assist in tracking patient care follow-up and quality assurance protocols Collaborate with medical staff to implement and enhance patient care programs Perform chart reviews and maintain proficiency in BVMI's EMR system; serve as a resource to other practitioners as needed
