Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a leading sensor technology and advanced manufacturing client. This individual will lead highly visible new product development and launch initiatives supporting cutting-edge pressure sensing technologies utilized across medical, industrial, automotive, and other critical applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering foundation coupled with proven project leadership experience, enabling them to drive complex NPI programs from customer award through production launch. Day-to-Day:

  • Lead projects from business award through start of production
  • Manage NPI programs and product launch activities
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and commercial teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, investments, and revenue forecasts
  • Lead customer meetings and serve as the primary project point of contact
  • Drive scope management, change control, and risk mitigation activities
  • Facilitate tollgate and project status reviews with leadership teams
  • Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and archived
  • Drive accountability, action item completion, and project execution discipline
  • Support technical discussions and decision-making throughout development cycles

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management, Project Engineering, or Technical Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
  • Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from award through production launch
  • Background in sensors, medical devices, instrumentation, MEMS, electromechanical products, or similar technologies
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Sales
  • Strong project financial management experience including budgets, forecasting, cost targets, and reporting
  • Experience managing product development projects on time, on budget, and with high quality
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to participate in technical discussions and challenge assumptions
  • Stable employment history with demonstrated tenure
  • Strong fit with Amphenol's culture and fast-paced environment
  • APQP experience
  • Experience with CPO and Stage-Gate/Tollgate review processes
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Medical device manufacturing experience
  • Biotech industry experience
  • Experience managing cross-site global project teams
  • Pressure sensor or MEMS technology experience
