The Global Enterprise Solutions Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving AGFA HealthCare's global solution architecture portfolio. The role ensures that enterprise imaging solutions are designed using standardised, scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures that meet customer requirements while aligning with AGFA's strategic technology direction. This is a customer-facing, commercially focused role within the pre-sales organisation, providing architectural leadership throughout the sales cycle and translating customer requirements into viable, competitive, and deliverable solution designs.The role drives architectural consistency across global regions and supports the organisation's transition towards cloud-native, containerised, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery models. Working closely with Product Management, R&D, Platform Engineering, Services, Sales, and Executive Leadership, the Global Solution Design Manager ensures that solution architectures support both business objectives and customer outcomes. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): Solution Architecture Strategy & Governance Define, maintain, and govern AGFA HealthCare's global solution architecture standards and reference designs. Lead the development and continuous improvement of FITCO standardised architectural frameworks. Establish architectural best practices covering performance, resilience, scalability, security, operational supportability, and cost optimisation. Drive architectural standardisation across on-premise, hybrid cloud, private cloud, and public cloud deployment models. Act as the architectural authority for complex and strategic customer opportunities. Platform Transformation & Cloud Enablement Lead the architectural transition from traditional virtual machine-based infrastructures to containerised Kubernetes platforms.
