Communications System Tech

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Communication Systems Technician I for a top wireless communications client. This candidate will work onsite in Valdosta, GA, supporting the installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of two-way radio and communication systems.

Day-to-Day:

• Install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot two-way and handheld radio equipment
• Diagnose and repair communication system issues
• Perform basic testing and maintenance of RF/radio equipment
• Assist with equipment and system upgrades
• Work alongside the service team to complete assigned tickets and resolve customer issues

Skills and Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on experience working with communication systems, two-way radios, or similar radio equipment
• Basic knowledge of RF and two-way radio systems
• Experience installing, programming, troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining radio/communications equipment Comfortable working hands-on with handheld and mobile radio equipment
