Summary
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Duties
- You will serve as a Joint staff liaison and requirements coordinator/manager of the Joint Force Requirements Process (JFRP).
- You will manage the application of existing and emerging requirements directives, instructions, manuals, and processes to make recommendations to leadership as to proper application and development of policy.
- You will make recommendations to Navy leadership in the development of instructions.
- You will manage the database of Navy requirements documentation submitted for Joint Review, comment matrices resulting from Joint Review, and final, Joint-approved version of the documentation.
- You will be responsible for the organization, management, and archival of the documents, data, and responses generated from meetings of these boards.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Utilizing an expert knowledge of Navy Core military missions, systems and programs in order to review and comprehend technical presentations and documents, to counsel requirements officers on proper application of Joint requirements processes, and rapidly identify the best-fit Navy personnel/ organizations to provide informed review of such information; 2)Utilizing expert skills in written and oral communications, particularly in clearly explaining complex processes and in producing classified correspondence per associated DoD security and document marking rules and regulations; 3) Utilizing organizational skills and attention to detail, in order to organize and manage the archive of important Navy requirements documents. Skill in computer applications, to include spreadsheet analysis, database management, document manipulation and change tracking; archiving; and automated data processing tools and equipment to construct reports, charts, spreadsheets, and graphs; 4) Experience with requirements development or requirements management; 5) Utilizing knowledge of and experience with the Defense Acquisition System and associated processes, to include existing and emerging directives, instructions, and manuals; 6) Ability to manage the coordination, scheduling, monitoring, and continuous improvement of requirements processes and associated data.
