Job Description

Why This Role is Important The Administrative Intern serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and service providers. This role supports the Administration team by helping maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment while gaining hands-on experience in business operations, customer service, and administrative processes. What You'll Do As an Administrative Intern, you will support a variety of front-office and administrative functions, including:

  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and messages
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and common area environment
  • Assist with visitor registration, temporary badges, and visitor logs
  • Help manage office supply inventory and restock common areas as needed
  • Support incoming and outgoing mail distribution
  • Assist with package receipt and delivery coordination
  • Help maintain employee contact lists and office directories
  • Support invoice mailing and document distribution processes
  • Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and general administrative projects
  • Provide support for employee events, meetings, and office activities
  • Assist Administration and other departments with special projects and daily operational needs
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling company and employee information
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be available for 3-6 months
  • Must be able to commute to the city of Hawthorne, CA.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require future sponsorship for employment visa
  • Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department needs
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

  • Interest in business administration, human resources, operations, logistics, or customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
