Deburring - 2nd Shift

Job Title: Deburring, Blast, Wash & Tumbling SUMMARY Able to perform and control secondary processes per work instructions, OCP's, or as directed by supervisor. Participate in continuous improvement activities that result in reducing variation and waste in the manufacturing process. Maintain the production processes and work within the expected efficiencies that are established for the product line. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Read part prints/ OCP's and job orders for all product specifications, i.e., dimensions, tolerances, inspection, number of parts to be processed. ? Ability to inspect product using visual Inspection equipment. ? Maintain work area according to 5S. ? Participate in continuous improvement activities and use the accepted tools, such as - Area Improvement Team (AIT). SPECIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE) ? Strong communication skills. ? The individual may be required to sit or stand for up to twelve hours using their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear around machinery. ? The individual must be capable of lifting and moving up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. ? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus on optical devices. Use of microscopes, magnifiers, and optical comparators will be expected. ? Individuals will work near moving mechanical parts of machinery and electrically activated devices. Individuals are occasionally exposed to airborne particles. ? Tolerate a manufacturing environment. ? Read and interpret Autocam manufacturing instructions. ? Perform math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division TRAINING AND EDUCATION ? Have a high school diploma , GED Certificate, or 2-3 yrs of work experience ? Ability to read and write English ? Ability to perform simple math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. ? Ability to read and understand blue prints ?
