Customer Specialist - Travel

Customer Specialist Floater Richwood Bank is on the search for the newest team member who can bring exceptional customer service and their drive to succeed. We are looking for a full-time Customer Specialist Floater with the desire and flexibility to work as needed in our multiple Branch locations. The right person for this position is crucial and highly valued because you will be educating and assisting our most valuable asset -- our customer. Previous banking experience is a bonus, but if you possess the values, drive, and qualities we look for in our elite team members, we know you'll learn the tasks involved in serving customers and exceeding our expectations. This position will require the full spectrum of banking service, from evaluating what account a customer would fit best in, to how to open it and transact funds and teach them about all Richwood Bank has to offer. Essential Functions - Greet customers - Facilitate all transactions for customers across all financial account types and requests - Open accounts and teach customers how to gain the most potential from them - Assist new customers in transferring all funds over seamlessly through our switch program - Maintain an accurate balance of cash drawers daily - Demonstrate knowledge of all accounts, products and services offered - Support customers with all account and service needs - Be willing to help customers with additional benefits such as notary, faxing and check orders - Stay current on rates for CDs, savings IRAs and interest bearing checking - Listen to customer needs and recommend the best solutions to help them succeed - Assist team with miscellaneous office support such as inventory of supplies and cookie Friday preparations - Scan proof -- scanning all transactions daily into the computer - Demonstrate drive thru knowledge -- speaker, transaction drawers/tube - Maintain assigned work hours - Work with others in a team environment - Accept direction from supervisors - Travel to branch locations to cover as requested by the Retail Manager - Perform other tasks assigned by Branch Manager Skills and Abilities - Excellent customer service skills - The ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with bank exposure to loss and fraud - Mathematical skills - In-depth knowledge of our bank products and services - Work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment - Ability to identify opportunity to educate customers of more products and services that may fit their needs (cross promotion) - Strong communication skills - High degree of accuracy - Detailed and organized - Maintain confidentiality at all times - Maintain a positive can-do attitude towards your team and customers - Knowledge of various federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Biley Act, Regulation E and teller roles and responsibilities relating to each act - Punctual - Driven to succeed and open minded to learn more about new technology within our industry
