Job Description: - Operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of metal to the casting machines. - Check temperatures and other gauges for proper working order, adjusting as necessary. - Add hot metal, ingot, sows, and scrap to furnaces. - Take alloy gas readings. - Clean and remove oxidized aluminum from furnaces and launder system. - Deliver metal to reverbs, holding furnaces, launder and casting machines.
