Full job description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the utility industry to provide strategic leadership and mentorship across a portfolio of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects throughout California.
This role is ideal for a utility professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, connecting people, and staying informed on the people, priorities, and initiatives shaping client organizations. The successful candidate is naturally curious, understands how to navigate complex stakeholder environments, and is able to engage comfortably in conversations across a wide range of technical, operational, and business topics while building trust and uncovering opportunities for partnership and growth.
The ideal candidate is a proven utility industry leader who excels at developing people, strengthening project delivery processes, driving consistency across programs, and helping teams successfully navigate complex project challenges. This individual will be highly skilled at building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with clients, project stakeholders, utility leadership, contractors, and internal teams, fostering trust, collaboration, and long-term partnership success.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a senior advisor and mentor to Project Managers across utility EPC projects.

Promote consistent, high-quality project delivery across programs and client accounts.

Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for utility clients and stakeholders.

Provide strategic recommendations and performance insights to project and executive leadership.

Support business development efforts through client engagement, project reviews, and proposal support.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and strategic partners.

Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support future business growth.

Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, and stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 10 years of experience managing or overseeing project management functions within the Electrical Transmission & Distribution industry.

Extensive experience providing leadership, technical oversight, and strategic guidance for large utility capital programs and EPC projects.

Exceptional leadership, communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Proven ability to influence project outcomes through coaching, collaboration, and strategic guidance rather than direct task execution.

College degree in business or marketing related field
