Join our dynamic team at Elmore Urgent Care!

We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care when our patients need it most. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced urgent care environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy setting, enjoys variety in their day, and can adapt quickly to changing patient needs.

What you can expect from this role:

Schedule: Variable days, including weekends and holidays. Three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect relevant health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.

  • Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, treatments, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.

  • Manage patient flow and help maintain an efficient clinic environment while prioritizing quality patient care.

  • Assist with clinical documentation, care coordination, and follow-up tasks to support continuity of care.

  • Promote a positive patient experience by providing excellent customer service and supporting timely access to care.

Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Certifications

  • Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

  • Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA.
