Companion Aide — Full-Time Day Shift (8:30 AM – 2:30 PM) Teaneck, NJ

We are currently looking for a compassionate, dependable Companion Aide to support a client in Teaneck, NJ. This is a full-time daily position, working 6 hours per day, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

• Engage clients in enjoyable activities, hobbies, and meaningful daily routines.

• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.

• Help with meal preparation and light kitchen tasks.

• Accompany clients on walks, errands, or appointments as needed.

• Encourage independence, dignity, and quality of life at home.

• Provide non-medical support based on the client's needs and care plan.

• We thoughtfully match caregivers and clients based on personality, location, and availability to create a positive and comfortable experience for everyone.

Pay & Schedule

• Position: Full-Time Companion Aide

• Location: Teaneck, NJ

• Schedule: Daily, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• Hours: 6 hours per day

• Pay Rate: $21 per hour

• Mileage reimbursement between client visits, if applicable.

• Direct deposit.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or companion care experience is preferred.

• Reliable transportation to the client's location in Teaneck, NJ.

• Compassionate, patient, professional, and dependable demeanor.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to provide companionship and assist with light household tasks.

• Must meet all applicable New Jersey employment requirements.
