2nd Shift-General Production Manager-Humboldt, TN

Job Details: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role or 2+ years of Tyson supervisory experience.

• Familiarity with processing floor operations preferred.

• HACCP certification and a basic understanding of HACCP principals and the ability to perform CCP monitoring verification preferred.

• Knowledge of fresh meats processing preferred.

• Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections using fixed ladders, stairs steps, etc.

• Able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility. The temperature in most of the areas range from 28°-45° Fahrenheit.

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer skills.

• Communication Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to communicate with all levels of management.

Special Skills: Team-leader, problem-solving, and motivation to take on special projects. Supervisory: Responsible for all production operations at the facility. This includes managing all production supervisors’ departments, production schedules, product rotation, CCP verification schedules, and overseeing the safety committee. This role includes responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop and improve in any deficient areas. Travel: Some travel is required as needed. This facility has an onsite daycare. All professional team members are expected to demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, including safeguarding sensitive information, adhering to company policies, and validating AI-generated outputs. Individual Contributors should demonstrate the ability to integrate AI into daily work, improve efficiency through AI-enabled solutions, evaluate outputs critically, and apply professional judgment when using AI. People Leaders should demonstrate the ability to drive responsible AI adoption, enable effective use of approved solutions, identify opportunities to improve team performance through AI, and ensure accountability for the quality and accuracy of AI-supported outcomes.
