Maintains security and order within the Reno County Jail to ensure safety of all persons and property. Performs a variety of recurring duties according to standardized departmental policies and procedures, selects applicable methods to take authoritative action in response to situational demands. Receives indirect supervision and refers to supervisor for unusual matters. Personal conduct and behavior (on duty as well as off) must be such that it does not bring disrepute or unnecessarily endanger the publics trust or confidence in the agency or its members.
