Full job description
VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Responsibilities: - Conduct training sessions for the 8-hour pre-assignment, 16-hour OJT, and 8-hour annual security courses. - Administer and oversee examinations for the 8-hour and 16- hour training modules. - Complete and maintain accurate administrative paperwork related to training and certifications. - Lead new hire orientation and ensure all trainees understand course materials and requirements. - Instruct and issue NARCAN Certificates. - Instruct, lead and issue DHS 40 Hour shelter Training Certificates( in accordance to Local Law 124). - Train the staff on proper access control duties. - Occasional work in the field. - Other Duties as Assigned. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or High School Equivalency. - Security Instructor Development Certification Course (IDC) is a 40-hour training. - CPR/AED/First aid. - NYS Security Guard License
