Day-to-Day:

• Lead a 100+ employee operations organization across the Southwest region
• Manage and develop a team of operations leaders and managers
• Oversee Project Management, Installation, Engineering, and Operations Coordination functions
• Drive regional operational performance and execution
• Conduct financial reviews and analyze P&L performance
• Track revenue, margins, EBITDA, and customer satisfaction metrics
• Build operational reports and performance insights from multiple data sources
• Partner with senior leadership on business strategy and operational decisions
• Coach managers through performance management and organizational changes
• Support engineers, technicians, programmers, project managers, commissioners, coordinators, and training specialists
• Improve accountability, operational effectiveness, and team performance
• Coordinate across multiple departments to ensure successful project delivery
• Influence diverse personalities and leadership styles across the organization
• Help drive long-term business growth and succession planning initiatives Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Southwest Operations Manager for a top Audio Visual Integration and Technology Services client. This leader will oversee a large regional operations organization consisting of more than 100 employees and multiple layers of management across project management, engineering, installation, and operations functions. The ideal candidate brings strong financial and operational leadership experience, including ownership of P&Ls, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business performance analysis. This individual will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, driving operational excellence, coaching leaders, improving accountability, and ensuring successful project delivery across the region. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and best suited for a decisive, relationship-focused leader who can influence teams, navigate ambiguity, and drive results without micromanaging. This role also offers significant visibility and long-term growth potential, including exposure to future regional and executive leadership opportunities.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of Operations Manager leadership experience

• Experience leading and coaching managers and large operational teams

• Strong financial operations leadership experience

• P&L ownership and analysis experience

• Ability to interpret operational financial performance and reporting

• Experience with sales forecasting, budgeting, margins, and EBITDA performance

• Experience building reports and insights from multiple data sources

• Comfortable working without highly automated dashboards/reporting systems

• Background within integration, project-based, field operations, or service delivery environments

• Able to drive accountability while maintaining a collaborative culture

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly visible leadership role

• Ability to work onsite and be flexible with business demands Plusses:
