LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) of NAVSTA MAYPORT.

Duties

• You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate the logistical actions in support of the Fuels mission.
• You will determine all activities involved in providing logistical support to include planning and scheduling while adjusting to scheduling delays and other logistical challenges.
• You will operate standard office equipment and maintain files in a neat and accessible manner to include field inventory management.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing all fuel inventory documents to include sales and transfers within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) dedicated Fuels Management Defense (FMD) software and retains auditable documents per DLA's strict policies; 2) Determining manpower requirements needed to meet daily operational plans while communicating with appropriate terminal personnel on a daily basis to improve information flow and team work; 3) Maintaining fuels accounting records, overseeing the processing of all issue, receipts and transfers of petroleum products. Education
