Full job description

  • Patient Assessment: Check vital signs, observe symptoms, and perform physical exams. - Medications & Treatments: Administer prescribed drugs, manage IV lines, and monitor for side effects. - Care Planning: Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans with the medical team. - Diagnostic & Lab Work: Draw blood, collect samples, operate medical equipment, and assist with tests. - Wound Care: Clean and bandage wounds and provide skin care. - Patient Education: Teach patients and families how to manage illnesses, take medications, and handle post-treatment care. - Team Collaboration: Communicate updates to doctors and supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, or students. - Documentation: Record accurate clinical notes and medical history in electronic health records (EHR)
